About Victoria Falls:

The Victoria Falls is one of the greatest attractions in Africa and also one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. It is located on the Zambezi River, the fourth largest river in Africa, which lies between the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The Victoria Falls is the only waterfall in the world with a height of more than hundred meters. It is also considered to be the largest natural fall in the world.

The noise of the Victoria Falls can be heard from a distance of 40 kilometres, whilst the spray and mist from the falling water is rising to a height of over 400 meters and can be seen from a distance of 50 kilometres. No wonder the local tribes used to call the Waterfalls Mosi-o-Tunya “The smoke that thunders”

Victoria Falls Accommodation

The panoramic views of the Falls are breath-taking from the central area and the west wing of the Elephant Camp whilst the Batoka gorge yawns before one from the rooms in the east wing. The Elephant camp and The Elephant Camp West are situated only 10 minutes from Victoria Falls in a private concession within the Victoria Falls National Park.
With an emphasis on exclusivity, the luxury tented suites all have private decks and plunge pools. The suites are all equipped with indoor and outdoor showers, huge baths, private lounges, mini bar and tea/coffee stations, overhead fans plus air conditioning and are all mosquito proofed.
The Elephant Camp overlooks a waterhole that is fed by natural streams in the rainy season that rush down to meet the Masuwe River, and the Zambezi gorges below the Falls. Walks and birding for guests supply boundless photographic opportunities in addition to the variety of activities that are available in Victoria falls.

About Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park is the largest and most popular park in Zimbabwe. It offers excellent wildlife viewing including big safari animals, including elephants, rhinoceros, lions, cheetahs and many more. Hwange is famous for the impressive concentration of elephants that are attracted to the park’s waterholes during the dry season. The dry season (from July to October) is the best time to visit Hwange, as large concentrations of wildlife descend upon the area to drink from the waterholes in order to survive in the hot and arid environment. The rains come during December to March and leave some stunning vegetation enabling mesmerising bird watching experiences, with local birds bolstered by migrant birds coming from the northern hemisphere. Hwange National Park is truly a year round wonderland.

Hwange National Park Accommodation

Located in a prime position in Hwange National Park, The Hide offers a life-enriching safari experience for its guests, from its fantastic game viewing right on your doorstep, to a variety of daily activities to suit everyone and the warm and welcoming staff, who make you feel like family from the minute you arrive.
Guests are accommodated in 10 beautifully-furnished deluxe tents, all boasting en-suite bathrooms and private verandas overlooking the busy waterhole. As well as 2 exclusive use options for private groups or families. Keep your binoculars on hand, as elephant, lion and buffalo can often be seen satisfying their thirst.

Adventures include day and night game drives, guided bush walks and exceptional game viewing in the seclusion of the camp’s unique underground hides. For those who are a little more adventurous, The Dove’s Nest Treehouse is available at no extra charge. Located 10 minutes away from camp, this rustic gem sleep out has the perfect vantage point from which to view wildlife safely, quietly.
After an exhilarating day of game viewing, guests can retreat to the cool refuge of the camp’s swimming pool and can enjoy delectable meals savoured al fresco or in the elegant dining room.
